So thanks for the offer, but I think i'll pass," Leo scoffed, sitting back down onto the bench which he had been on previously, and proceed in reading his- what Cecilia called- everlasting encyclopedia, which was in fact a normal muggle book, which contained all sorts of different fairytales. " Yeah, witches and wizards who can't perform a single spell, let alone save their lives from whatever could be lurking in there. " But…your forgetting something…something VERY important…Leo, have you forgotten that we're witches and wizards?" Cecilia questioned, putting a hand on her hip and quirking an eyebrow up.
"Go see for yourself, I already told you that the forest over there is haunted, and I prefer to stay alive a little while longer, thank you very much," Decided Leo, crossing his hands and folding them on his chest. "Leo! Come oooooon!" Whined the six year old, trying to take the little boy's hand, but unfortunately, he wouldn't budge. Cecilia had sworn that she would never ever so much glance at it, but she couldn't help the memories that flooded into her head. It had the letters "C" and "L" marked into them, with some kind of complicated flower entwining them together. She wandered around the area for some time, until she stopped at a certain tree trunk she thought she would never look at again. She had to admit it, nothing else could calm her except for a nice, peaceful, composing atmosphere, which was quite ironic, seeing as her personality was pretty much the opposite. It had been quite a while since Cecilia had been slumped against the tree bark, and so she got up to stretch her legs for a bit, before it was time to go. She thought about mailing one of her friends (not that she had many, of course), but quickly decided against it, and tried to convince herself that no one wanted to hear her stupid problems.Īnd so, that's how Cecilia Riddle found herself soaring through the sky on her broom late that night, dressed in only her signature black, knee-length heeled boots, and a leather jacket which she absolutely adored, along with a few books in a rucksack which was slung over her shoulder, as she headed into the darkness, not slowing down until she found her usual tree near the edge of the pond, and she halted, and made her way down towards the ground. Once the house elf was gone, Cecilia sat up in bed, wondering what she was going to do about her recent nightmare. " Of course! Mitsy will do anything to serve the Royal house of Riddle!" And, with that, she snapped her fingers and disapparated, leaving the fifteen year old still trying to recover. " Do you think you can get me my boots from downstairs, Mitsy?" She asked politely, knowing that the house elf would have to obey. It took Cecilia a few moments to regain her mentality and thought of a sudden idea.… "Is Miss Cecilia needing anything from Mitsy?" she asked, her giant eyes glinting with worry. She could tell that she made quite a racket, because the family's house elf Mitsy was standing by her bedside. "Avada Kadavra." and with that, a jet of bright green light came blasting out of the wand, leaving Cecilia's lifeless body sprawled out on the marble floor.Ĭecilia woke up with a start, thick beads of sweat dripping down her pale face. "I think it's time for you to learn a lesson, Cecilia." each step he took made Cecilia wince slightly, a look of horror plastered on her face. Samuel stepped forward, taking his wand out at the same time. "Dora." the screaming immediately stopped, as the curse was lifted off Cecilia. Meanwhile, Samuel Riddle was standing in the corner of the room, watching his daughter yelling until her voice became hoarse, an obvious smirk playing at his lips. "This will teach you not to disobey me again!" Cecilia's mother Isadora Riddle cackled, her grey orbs blazing. "CRUCIO!" that one word was enough to make Cecilia start screaming from the top of her lungs, as though her whole body was on fire. CECILIA Riddle was lying in the middle of her living room, her mother cowering over her.
